Service Pack 1 is now available for download in MyQNX section of http://www.qnx.com. SP1 addresses critical issues in virtual memory management and embedded (NOR) flash file systems. It also incorporates maintenance fixes to both the Momentics tools and the Neutrino operating system - addressing issues in the IDE, command line tools, OS, Filesystem, and Networking components. VMWare 5.0 Public Beta

VMWare beta 5.0 is now publicly available at: http://www.vmware.com/products/desktop/ws5_beta.html

So far QNX6 and QNX4 work just like before (starting floppy driver still crashes the VM, which VMWare is working on.)

It does seems a tad faster, but that is just a first impression.

Virtual machine config need to be converted from 4 to 5 and cannot be converted back.

QNX NC History

John Nagle just started a discussion on the changes in the QNX Non-Commercial releases over the years and different versions: from "Everything worked" in QNX 6.0 NC to mandatory registration for download and some features expired in 30 days as of the latest QNX 6.3.
