IPv6 Packets Sent Automatically at Startup
I have noticed that QNX automatically sends 3 IPv6 packets at startup. I believe they are 2 multicast listener reports, and 1 neighbor solicitation.
We have implemented a scheme where all nodes know in advance the IPv6 addresses and MAC addresses of the other nodes they need to communicate with. Therefore, neighbor discovery is unnecessary.
Is there a way to suppress the output of the 3 packets at startup?
