QNX4 File system formatted disk

Postby Shyam » Tue Jan 19, 2010 4:13 am

Hello,

Can we make QNX4 File system formatted disk? (In a disk without any partition)

I am able format one partition as QNX4 File system in multi partitioned MSC device using dinit, but when I tried to do a entire disk as QNX4 file system(without any partitions) which is failing

I am able to format device without any partition as QNX6 File system device

Please see the command used:

Multi partitioned disk command used:

fdisk /dev/umass/umass100 add –t77
dinint /dev/umass/umasst77

No partitions:
fdisk /dev/umass/umass100 delete -a
dinint /dev/umass/umass100

Is this called superformated disk?

Thanks in advance
