An Inside Look at the Eclipse Project

Last week, at the Embedded Systems Conference in San Francisco, the state of Eclipse was reviewed at a roundtable discussion of four participants in the project. Sebastian Marineau, development manager for QNX Software Systems Ltd., a supplier of real-time operating systems for embedded devices, talked about how Eclipse would help embedded developers.

nocmonkey.org just released the latest apache and php build for qnx6. The mirror can be found here. Apache/PHP users are urged to upgrade because of some recent security holes found and fixed in php 4.3.1. The binaries were built on qnx 6.2.0 but should work for other qnx6 versions too.

Ampro Announces QNX® Neutrino® OS Support for Six Single Board Computers

3rd party CD ISO released for QNX6.2.1

A new third party CD and repository featuring open source and freeware applications and libraries has been released along with the release of QNX 6.2.1 NC.

QNX builds BSP for SiByte processor

QNX Software Systems has inked a development pact with Broadcom, under which the well-known embedded software player has ported its Neutrino RTOS to Broadcom's SiByte BCM1250 processor.

The new BSP will be available in June 2003 as part of QNX's Momentics Professional Edition, which is the development suite for the Neutrino OS.
