Artesyn Communication Products today announced MTP3, SCCP and ISUP protocol layers to enhance SpiderWareSG(tm), a SIGTRAN signaling gateway blade. These layers are designed to run on an IP-based SIGTRAN client like a media gateway controller (MGC) or softswitch for seamless communication with the SpiderWareSG blade.
The MTP3, SCCP and ISUP components are pre tested and designed to run on a number of operating systems, including HP-UX, Linux(tm), VxWorks®, Solaris(tm) and QNX®. As a result, users can acquire the entire SIGTRAN and SS7 solution from Artesyn, cutting time to market and increasing return on investment.
