BACKPLANE Systems has announced the latest addition to Octagon Systems' range of embedded PCs - a rugged industrial computer loaded with I/O and designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -40° to +85°C.The PC-680 has six serial ports, C&T 69000 video for CRT and flat panels, 10/100 Base-T Ethernet, FDD, HDD, parallel, dual USB and keyboard ports.
It supports 128MB of SDRAM, 144MB of flash and is Windows CE/NT, QNX and Linux compatible.
