The combined technologies enable tier one suppliers and automakers around the world to deliver cutting-edge digital music technologies to the market faster.The Freescale Media5200 platform is designed to cut development costs and speed time to deployment for companies building feature-rich infotainment devices. Coupled with the QNX® Neutrino® realtime operating system (RTOS) and Gracenote's digital music technology, the Freescale MPC5200 platform supports highly sophisticated CD ripping and music management applications that allow motorists to listen to hundreds of their favorite tunes, without fussing with CDs or jewel cases.
