SAE WORLD CONGRESS (DETROIT), QNX Software Systems announced today that Visteon Corporation, a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest automotive suppliers in the world, has selected QNX to supply automotive-grade software for its next-generation in-car computing platforms.
QNX will supply Visteon with software and services for multiple in-car computing and telematics projects. One of the first projects will further enhance Visteon's Bluetooth hands-free communications platform. The companies will also collaborate in the development of telematics applications such as navigation and infotainment, as well as safety and security features for collision warning and avoidance.
