Sealevel Systems, a well known supplier of communications and I/O interfaces to the embedded and industrial computing markets, just unveiled its first ready-to-deploy industrial controller platform. The new 2U rackmount compatible "Relio" controller is based on Intel's 650 or 400 MHz Mobile Celeron processor.

Sealevel said that it supports Microsoft's XP Embedded and CE .NET, VxWorks, and TimeSys Embedded Linux on the system, in addition to QNX.

The Relio controller boasts an all-solid-state design free of fans and rotating magnetic media, resulting in reliable, wide temperature operation. Built-in I/O includes dual 10/100 Mbits/sec Ethernet, four serial ports, and four USB ports, and the system is internally expandable via a variety of PC/104 function modules from both Sealevel and third-party suppliers.
