sound

In our QNX4 software we used the PC speaker to produce some form of sound,
is it possible to do this still ?
I ask this as the migration kit tells me that the sound() and nosound()
functions are no longer supported, I also realise that I can use the sound
card functionality but we may not always have a sound card in the computer.

Hm... not built in, but you could probably write something. Just have
to hit the right hardware.

Or, printf("^G"); will give a simple beep.
