Porting Intel Processor Counter Monitor to QNX

Postby mankoula » Wed Feb 12, 2020 6:57 pm

Does any one ever tried porting the Intel Processor Monitor tool to QNX?
https://github.com/opcm/pcm

If not any idea how hard it would be to do so?
This tool offer insight in some performance metrics that Momemtics doesn't have.
Thanks

No idea.

But if you are looking for other ways to monitor performance on an Intel CPU, you can look at Intel VTune. It's not totally free but it does have built in QNX support.
https://software.intel.com/en-us/vtune- ... -boot-time
https://software.intel.com/en-us/vtune-help-qnx-targets
https://software.intel.com/en-us/vtune- ... m-analyzer

The question is, do you really need it or any other more advanced metrics (ie is your system slow)?
