I'm using qnx 4.25 and photon on a Intel P III 333 Mhz SBC (Single Board
With a 64M flash disk which the bios sees as a hard disk (Secondary Master)
I want to speed up the start up times
The following list is the various processes the system goes through
0 - 12 seconds running bios
13 - 30 seconds starting QNX
31 - 42 seconds starting Photon (for 10 seconds the screen goes
46 second starts running application
Does anyone out there know if any of these processes can be speeded up.
Does it have anything to do with the interaction between the IPL, the bios
and the flash disk?
bridged with qdn.public.photon
