Virtual Thread?

Post by Chip » Thu Nov 06, 2003 3:43 pm

Hello,

I've been working with the event logging in the instrumented kernel on
QNX 6.2. The System analysis toolkit docs mention that thread and
virtual thread events can be logged by specifying _NTO_TRACE_THREAD or
_NTO_TRACE_VTHREAD.

What exactly is a virtual thread? I never see any vthread events logged.

Thanks,

Chip Jones

I THINK vthread states are state changes done in qnet to represent the
change in state of remote threads accross a QNET link.
