SDTimes talks about the latest QNX Momentics Pro. Unlike power management schemes used in other embedded systems, which place power management control with the operating system, QNX's method, according to the company, puts control policies with the applications, giving developers more control over the power consumption of individual system components.QNX claims the new flash file system can identify and automatically correct inconsistencies in data that may have been caused by hardware errors or failed operations.
Momentics also works with several new boards, including models from ADI, Broadcom, Intel, Motorola and NEC.
