QNX Adds BSPs

QNX announced the availability of board support packages (BSPs) for the Artesyn PM/PPC-750F and Artesyn PM/PPC 440, two of the leading PCI mezzanine cards for wireless, optical, and voice-over-packet networking applications. With these new BSPs, communications systems designers using the QNX(R) Neutrino(R) RTOS can eliminate time-consuming hardware integration issues and immediately begin application development.

QNX Desktop 0.1 Released

qnx.org.ru (aka QOR) has recently unveiled the first public release of QNX Desktop. This test version supports dragging icons, changing/editing the item's launch command, switch between small/big icons, etc.

qor is one of the major qnx sites and has attracted lots of talented russian and non-russian speaking qnx developers. They have made major contributions to the QNX community.

XVNC 3.3.7 Server/Client for QNX 6

The OpenQNX project just released Xvnc 3.3.7 client and server for QNX 6, available for download at the usual project site.

VNC stands for Virtual Network Computing. It is remote control software which allows you to view and interact with one computer (the "server") using a simple program (the "viewer") on another computer anywhere on the Internet.

Mozilla Firebird 0.6 released

Mozilla Firebird 0.6, the first release of the browser formerly known as Phoenix since its high-profile name change, is out. The release notes detail the changes; included therein is a new default theme, a new preferences window, one-click removal of all privacy-related data, and several other new features. French and Polish language versions of this release are also available.

QNX 6 binary will be available on the OpenQNX project site.

MySQL AB and QNX Announce Product Compatibility for the Embedded Market

mozilla 1.4b released

Mozilla 1.4 Beta, is now available for download. This release features NTLM authentication support for Windows Mozilla users as well as a host of improvements to performance, usability, stability, and site compatibility.
